Comfort Level

About a year and a half ago, when I created my first blog site, I loved it. At that point, I wasn’t too familiar with the complete functionality of what blog sites could actually offer. But once I started getting into blogging, and more or less studying other blog sites and CMS’s, then I became extremely curious on how much I could actually get out of a site. Once I learned that, the blog site that I was using simply was not enough, and I started to write less.

Can’t Do That, It Might be a Trend!

Over the past few months I have debated, with myself, whether or not I wanted to note my thoughts on other designers thinking that trends are bad. Apparently the current trends are the gradients, shadows, and rounded corners just to name a few. What seems to bug me, is that some of the designers that hop on the bandwagon in claiming that these trends are “played out” , I’m sure they have a fair share of drop shadows in the portfolio. Apparently these trends are becoming, or have been, an issue. Oh really?!

Come and Gone

So I had been looking forward to the Reboot for quite a few weeks, and I was pretty excited about it. But now that it has come and gone, it wasn’t exactly what I expected it to be. Not that it was a bad thing, but I think the server problems that were going on at the beginning, and the ultra slow loading times kinda threw me off a little bit.
