I know the feeling of a full-time job while working in a new business. I find Saturday a wonderful day to work on your own stuff.

While I’ve never truly freelanced professionaly, all of your lessons seem well learned. I’ve got to agree with both TJ and you that music is nearly a necessity. Putting on a pair of headphones really helps me get in the zone, ready to get things done.

God this article stuck a chord with me. Especially this part: “…turn on music, and just go at it.”

I hear you on all levels. I usually just stop everything, turn on something grand and get lost in time with my work. Its much easier to get things done that way.
